Hiking is an outdoor activity which can also be a way to exercise as it is the act of taking long walks.
Hiking is the act of walking for recreational purposes. In hiking, the journey is more important than the destination. It is being done on rural trails or in the wilderness. It is a form of natural exercise that promotes physical fitness.
Hiking is also being called in other terms as Trekking, Backpacking, Bush Walking and Trailing Mountaineering. The most basic of these activities is walking. It can be an initial learning of Survival Skills, Camping, Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Navigation Skills and variation of other outdoor procedures.
Hiking was developed during the Stone Age. People walk to hunt for food. Nowadays, its transformed into a fun and recreational activity. Most people use walking as a form of relaxation and a means to clear their minds.
